How to Join
You must attend a 1/2 hour orientation meeting, which starts promptly at 9 am. In this meeting, you'll learn all about Job Connections and the services we provide. You'll also be asked to introduce yourself at the regular meeting, which you'll join after orientation is finished.
Dress code is business casual 'Friday'; jeans are okay.
Benefits of Joining
We have a guest speaker every Saturday, which helps educate us about all the things you need to know in your job search. All our speakers are good, and some are world-famous.
As a member, you can join our Yahoo and LinkedIn groups, which you can use to communicate with other members. Many members post job listings on these groups, but you can also use them to ask for contacts at prospective employers and to ask other questions.
Volunteer Opportunities
We ask members to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization (for example, on the coffee, membership, or orientation committees, and for our Annual Summit). Besides helping to run the organization, these committees provide an opportunity for members to make a difference in Job Connections.
