Our Meetings

We meet from 9:00-11:30AM every Saturday at the Community Presbyterian Church, 222 W. El Pintado, Danville, CA. 94526 Posted signs will direct you to the meeting room.

You must attend an introductory session that starts promptly at 9:00AM before you can join the group.

In the first hour the group discusses job searches and we have announcements. In the second hour, guest speakers share tips, techniques and advice that helps our members improve their job searches and successfully manage their career transitions.

During a 20-year Minor League Baseball career Skip served as President & General Manager for five different Minor League franchises, two of which were recognized as "Organization of the Year" by "The Sporting News" in 1987 (the Greensboro Hornets of the South Atlantic League) & "Baseball America" in 1998 (the Hudson Valley Renegades).
On three occasions Skip's leadership turned struggling franchises into profitable organizations and community leaders. Garamendi, a lifelong rancher, dedicated family man, and longtime public servant, has forged a reputation as a fierce defender of consumers and a visionary, effective leader. He possesses the unique wealth of knowledge and experience necessary to tackle the complex challenges of today’s economy and Washington politics.
 
Dr. John Schinnerer is President and Founder of Guide To Self, a company that focuses on what makes people successful in life. Dr. Schinnerer coaches executives, individuals and groups to their potential using the latest in scientifically proven interventions. Most recently, Dr. John Schinnerer hosted over 200 episodes of Guide To Self Radio, a prime time radio show on positive psychology and emotional management, in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated summa cum laude from U.C. Berkeley with a Ph.D. in psychology.
Dr. Schinnerer wrote, “Guide To Self: The Beginner’s Guide To Managing Emotion and Thought,” to help individuals thrive in life.
